Learn about Citroën Jumper 2007-2018 fuse box and relay’s locations, functions, and maintenance tips for optimal vehicle electrical system.

The Citroën Jumper (2007-2018) comes in various body styles, including panel vans, chassis cabs, and minibus configurations. Known for its versatility, it caters to both commercial and passenger needs. The van offers ample cargo space, modern infotainment systems, and safety features like ABS, airbags, and rear parking sensors.

The fuse box, typically located under the dashboard and under the hood, protects vital electrical systems, including the lighting, wipers, and infotainment system, from electrical surges. When a fuse blows, it disconnects power to prevent damage to these components.

The relays in the Citroën Jumper control important systems like the fuel pump, ignition, and cooling fans. These relays serve as switches, allowing smaller electrical signals to manage larger current loads. A faulty relay can cause issues like the vehicle not starting or cooling fans failing to operate, which may lead to engine overheating.

Regular inspection of the fuse box and relays ensures the van’s electrical systems function smoothly, supporting both its commercial utility and passenger comfort.

WARNING

  • Never replace a fuse with one that has a higher amperage rating.
  • A fuse with a too-high amperage could damage the electrical part and cause a fire.
  • On no account should fuses be repaired (e.g. patched up with tin foil or wire) as this may cause serious damage elsewhere in the electrical circuit or cause a fire.
  • If a fuse blows repeatedly, do not keep replacing it. Instead, have the cause for the repeated short circuit or overload tracked and fixed.
  • Terminal and harness assignments for individual connectors will vary depending on vehicle equipment level, model, and market.

Citroën Jumper 2007-2018 fuse assignment

  • Cigar lighter (power outlet) fuses are the fuses №33 (Rear 12V socket), F44 (Lighter – Front 12V socket) in the Dashboard Fuse box, and fuse №56 (Rear passenger 12V socket) in the door pillar fuse box. In the UK version – fuse №56 (Rear passenger 12V socket) in the door pillar fuse box, and fuses №9 (Rear 12V socket), №14 (Front 12V socket) and №15 (Cigarette lighter) in the Engine compartment Fuse box.
