The Chrysler Pacifica (RU) 2021-2024 is available in multiple trims, including hybrid and gasoline models. It offers advanced features such as a Uconnect infotainment system, hands-free sliding doors, and an array of safety tech like adaptive cruise control, lane assist, and collision warning.
These features are powered and protected by the vehicle’s fuse box and relays. The fuse box, located under the dashboard and in the engine bay, ensures that the electrical components, such as lighting, navigation, and entertainment systems, remain protected from overloads. If a fuse blows, it cuts off the power to prevent damage to these components.
The relays manage high-power systems such as the fuel pump, cooling fans, and starter motor, functioning as switches that control larger electrical loads. A faulty relay can disrupt these vital systems, affecting the vehicle’s starting, cooling, or fuel supply.
Ensuring the fuse box and relays are functioning properly is critical to maintaining the Pacifica’s advanced features and overall performance. Regular checks prevent electrical failures and ensure smooth operation of the vehicle’s essential systems.

WARNING
- Never replace a fuse with one that has a higher amperage rating.
- A fuse with a too-high amperage could damage the electrical part and cause a fire.
- On no account should fuses be repaired (e.g. patched up with tin foil or wire) as this may cause serious damage elsewhere in the electrical circuit or cause a fire.
- If a fuse blows repeatedly, do not keep replacing it. Instead, have the cause for the repeated short circuit or overload tracked and fixed.
- Terminal and harness assignments for individual connectors will vary depending on vehicle equipment level, model, and market.

Fuse Box Location
The Power Distribution Center (PDC) is located in the engine compartment near the battery. Remove the cover by unlatching the two locks located at each side of the PDC cover, avoid the usage of screw drivers or any other tool to remove the cover, since they may apply excessive force and result in a broken/ damaged part. After service is done, secure the cover with its two locks.
A label that identifies each component is printed on the inside of the cover.
