Locate fuse box and relay positions for the Chevrolet Silverado (GMT T1XX) 2022-2024 with diagrams. Essential for maintaining electrical reliability and performance.
The Chevrolet Silverado (GMT T1XX) 2022-2024 is a rugged full-size pickup truck, offering multiple body styles, including Regular Cab, Double Cab, and Crew Cab. Each configuration provides different seating and cargo options, catering to a variety of needs, from work-focused tasks to family-friendly travel. Known for its powerful engine options and advanced towing technology, the Silverado is designed for performance and versatility, whether on the highway or off-road.
The Silverado’s electrical system supports a range of features, from safety technologies to infotainment. The truck has two primary fuse boxes: one in the engine compartment and another in the cabin, usually under the dashboard on the driver’s side. These fuse boxes house fuses and relays that control critical systems like lights, power accessories, and engine functions. Relays, positioned near the fuse boxes, help manage higher-power components such as the starter and fuel pump. Regular checks of these components are essential for reliable operation.

WARNING
- Never replace a fuse with one that has a higher amperage rating.
- A fuse with a too-high amperage could damage the electrical part and cause a fire.
- On no account should fuses be repaired (e.g. patched up with tin foil or wire) as this may cause serious damage elsewhere in the electrical circuit or cause a fire.
- If a fuse blows repeatedly, do not keep replacing it. Instead, have the cause for the repeated short circuit or overload tracked and fixed.
- Terminal and harness assignments for individual connectors will vary depending on vehicle equipment level, model, and market.
