Find the fuse box and relay locations for the Chevrolet Equinox 2022-2024 with clear diagrams. Essential guide for electrical maintenance and reliable performance.
The Chevrolet Equinox (2022-2024) is a compact SUV that combines practicality with a modern design, making it ideal for families and urban driving. The Equinox is available in multiple trims, each emphasizing comfort, advanced technology, and safety. With its bold front grille, LED headlights, and spacious cabin layout, the Equinox balances style with functionality. The interior offers flexible seating and ample cargo space, catering to both everyday commutes and longer trips.
To support its advanced features, the Equinox relies on a well-organized electrical system. The main fuse box is located in the engine compartment, with an additional fuse box often found inside the cabin, typically on the passenger side near the glove compartment. The relays near these fuse boxes control high-demand components, such as the cooling fans and ignition. Ensuring these components are in good condition is crucial for maintaining the SUV’s overall performance and reliability.

WARNING
- Never replace a fuse with one that has a higher amperage rating.
- A fuse with a too-high amperage could damage the electrical part and cause a fire.
- On no account should fuses be repaired (e.g. patched up with tin foil or wire) as this may cause serious damage elsewhere in the electrical circuit or cause a fire.
- If a fuse blows repeatedly, do not keep replacing it. Instead, have the cause for the repeated short circuit or overload tracked and fixed.
- Terminal and harness assignments for individual connectors will vary depending on vehicle equipment level, model, and market.

Location of Fuse Boxes
Instrument Panel Fuse Block:
The fuse block for the instrument panel is located beneath the instrument panel on the driver’s side. To reach the fuses, press and release the latch positioned near the top center. Then, press the two side retaining tabs until they are free from the sides of the panel. This will allow the panel to lower and move aside. To put the cover back in place, simply follow these steps in reverse.
Engine Compartment Fuse Block:
The fuse block cover is held in place by three clips on its sides. To remove it, press the clips together and lift the cover straight upward.
Rear Compartment Fuse Block:
The fuse block for the rear compartment is located behind a trim panel on the side of the rear area. To access the fuse block, take off the trim panel.
